Nahum Stutchkoff was a Yiddish lexicographer and well-known radio personality. Besides his Yiddish Thesaurus, Stutchkoff also authored a Thesaurus of the Hebrew Language and a Yiddish Rhyming Lexicon (Gramen-leksikon). His most famous radio programs include "Around the Family Table" (Ba tate-mames tish) in the 1930s and "People with Troubles" (Tsores ba laytn) in the 1940s and 1950s.
