The thickness is 1/4". The density is 12 lbs. Installation Just simply cut to fit with scissors or a razor blade. Glue the padding to the boat deck and then glue the carpet to the padding. Stop the padding 1/2" short of all edges. Doing so, will allow the carpet to taper down to the deck.
