A gallery of over 30 photographs of Marine Corps armor operations during the Vietnam War. Most of these photos have probably never been published. These images were taken by Marine combat photographers who risked their lives to document the service of their brothers to the United States. Marine Corps Tanks in Vietnam: A Photo Gallery follows the Marine Corps for several years in the hot, sweltering jungles of Vietnam. Donald Yates, a military veteran writer with over 20 published works, most of them military or history related, gives you a look at the life of a U.S. Marine armor man during his life-or-death struggles. Over 30 combat photos taken by actual Marine Combat Photographers are presented to the reader with citations. The M-48 tank is widely on display in this book. That was what the Marines had to work with during combat which beat an olive drab shirt for protection.
