This textbook has been written to comply with the revised code requirements for Marine Engineering. It is the intention to prepare students for both written examinations as well as for Certificate of Competency oral examination readiness. The sketches used in this book have been drawn in a manner that aims to make the underlying concepts behind each topic easily understood, whilst also being easily replicable by students.
