He was praised as the "greatest humorist the United States has produced", and William Faulkner called him "the father of American literature". Brazilian comics creator Wander Antunes devoted himself to comics, his true passion, after a long career in advertising and film. He has won several international prizes, including awards from Chambéry International Comics Festival and the Moulins BD Festival.
