Every day we consciously and subconsciously tell ourselves stories. We’ve allowed these stories to be spoken over us and in most cases, we’ve bought into and agreed with them. Because of that we think these stories have become our truth. What if I told you that those stories were lies? What if I told you that you could rewrite your stories with the truth? Bestselling author, professional speaker, and Licensed Professional Counselor Justine Froelker has worked for over twenty years in the traditional mental health space, and she’s taught and spoken specifically about rewriting shame and helping others to know how loved they are and how to live loved. In Marvel Undone , Froelker—who is also a butterfly farmer—will teach you: how to discover and live in the love that God has for you. - about the lies that you have been led to believe about religion and God. - how to release the expectations you have for God and learn how to remove the agreements you have with the enemy. - how to take care of yourself so you can live with joy and contentment. - that you are enough and how to live from your enoughness. After reading, Marvel Undone you will: learn how to work through your trauma, grief, and the lies you have been living with. - identify the work that you need to do to live a faith-filled, joy-filled life. - learn how to take ownership of your journey and the decisions you must make. - deepen your relationship with God and Holy Spirit. Justine is the author of eight bestselling books and was honored to do two TEDx Talks, The Permission of the And and The Donut Effect. She presents to global audiences for organizations like NASA Kennedy Space Center, Boeing, Square, Edward Jones, and Balbec Capital LP on such topics as leadership, courage, resilience, mental health, preventing burnout, and courageous and curious conversation. Justine lives in St. Louis with her husband, Chad, their three dogs and, for four months of the year, hundreds of monarch butterflies. I just finished Chapter 3...actually I read the chapter last week and wasn't ready to wrestle with the writing so I pushed it off, but I reread and wrestled today. It was beautiful. The simple part that You aren't meant to stay small, child. Trust me, come out. Oh, the plans I have for you . Those were just the words I needed to hear. And those questions were so simple, yet so challenging for me. And then I did the 10 minutes of quiet and I wept. I saw a hand reaching to take hold mine pulling me up out of my stubborn own-self do it ways. And kept repeating I am chosen, I am His and I am Loved. It was profound and I am so grateful you wrote this book. ~ Erin S. Many people believe that God is punishing them when they face their biggest challenges. Justine reminds us that we are enough and God loves us. This book is an excellent guild to sorting all of the big feelings and finding happiness after trauma. ~ April H. First of all, I want to thank you for the opportunity to participate in pre-reading your book before the official launch date. It has been an honor to be able to utilize your book in my quiet time each morning. When I started reading it, I hadn't realized that there were questions to ponder/answer/rest on/wrestle with in each chapter.I hadn't realized some of the lies that I was still believing--especially after years of working through various hurts in life. I am interested to see how my answers will change in a few months when I go back and reread the book. It was also a good exercise for me to sit in silence at the end of each day. Too many times, my days are chalked full of things to do and I tend to jump from one task to the next; so sitting in silence with no distractions (well, almost no distractions--my 3 dogs tend to demand getting petted during the time, but other than that, it is distraction-free) for 10 minutes at the end of my quiet time each day has been eye opening. It has set my conversations up with God to flow more throughout the day since I am poised to listen. My gratitude list has shifted a bit to include God in the things I'm grateful for. (I've been keeping a daily gratitude list since January) It is so odd to write that, and acknowledge that....seems so mean that I wouldn't include God in what I'm grateful for, and yet the thoughts that came from reading your book helped open my eyes to that truth. ~ Katie P. You are loved. Live like it. Moving through the lifecycle of the miraculous and resilient monarch butterfly, Justine Froelker helps you identify ten common lies often believed about God. Filled with stories of struggle and triump, journaling prompts, and Scripture references, Marvel Undone meets you in teh dark with the loving light of Jesus. Marvel Undone will help you discover the stories you have been misled to believe as truth. It is in this darkness that you become undone and where God meets you with an overwhelming love. In this love, you can stop living from stories of trauma, shame, grief, and lies, and
