Replacement of the Mass Air Flow Sensor

Be sure to thoroughly check the surroundings of the Mass Air Flow Sensor before

changing, such as: blocked intake channels, dirty air filter, low

boost pressure (for turbo diesel), leakage between MAF and

charger, and strong oil/soot deposits behind the exhaust gas

 re-circulation.

As experience shows, the sole cause is mostly the defective MAF.

By replacing the Mass Air Flow Sensor the problem is solved quickly

Adaption to the ECU is affordable.

Recommended additional repair: air filter

Premium Quality:

Mass air flow sensor is fitted between the air filter and throttle body. It is used to measure the amount of air drawn into the engine. The signal produced by air mass sensor will be sent to ECU which determines the correct amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine according best proportion between fuel and air.
