Maxi Paton Visits a Dairy Farm, is the third book in this series. It is based on a real-life black Labrador puppy with a white star on his chest. He was rescued by Tom who runs a garbage collection business. Tom and Maxi are going out in a big garbage truck to pick up trash from the homes of farming families around the district that he lives in. Along the way they meet up with lots of different people and Maxi starts to learn about the different types of farms and what they all do. On this adventure Maxi gets to see his big brother, Bruce, and his owner, Ray. Ray is a dairy farmer and he teaches Maxi that milk comes from dairy cows. Maxi loves puppy milk.
