This is a wonderful collection of memoirs of an island boy who grew up on the beautiful Island of St. Croix, Virgin Islands in the 1950's era. An era that didn't have all the media outlets and gadgets of today's society like Social Media, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Streaming content, high end electronics like IPads, Computers, and SmartPhones. Storytelling was their entertainment apparatus. These comical stories told by my father recounted humorous events that took place as a young boy with his array of one eyed animals, and a copious of characters that will have you smiling and chuckling inside. Simple, yet delightful in humor, and through script we have immortalized these memoirs, taking us back in time to an era that was full of life, adventure, customs and colorful events, a time of just pure simplistic living.
