This course embarks on a journey through the foundational teachings, ethical frameworks, and spiritual insights of some of the world's major religions. We will begin by addressing essential questions about the nature and purpose of religion, exploring how various beliefs articulate the big questions of human existence and spirituality. This course is intended to be taught over the course of 18 weeks. World Religions is structured into seven units, most of which are dedicated to exploring the religions that have developed in different geographical regions. There is an assessment at the end of each unit to help you assess your student’s progress in the course.
