About this photograph: This panoramic photo, taken on January 8, 2024, at NRG Stadium, captured the on-field celebration after the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Washinton Huskies, 34-13, in the CFP National Championship Game. In a battle between two undefeated teams, Michigan earned the victory, ending the season with a perfect 15-0 record and their first national title since 1997. In this record-breaking year, the Wolverines also became the first college football program to reach 1,000 all-time wins.
