Year 424 of the Millennium Reign. Growing unrest in the nations shows some have lost sight of the Great Plan, necessitating heralds to remind them of what is to come. Jewel is one of them. It is a time for rededication, for fixing misconceptions of His Reign. To announce this old earth, though renewed, will be destroyed because of sin’s taint. A final battle is coming. In the New Heaven and New Earth, sin is unheard, unseen, unknown and unremembered. There are no tears. Jewel cannot tell what she has not seen. So King Jesus takes Jewel, her father, with Roy and Amy on a guided tour of heaven to reveal His ways, methods/means of high creation. And shows her the next step in the Eternal Plan, following the shadow-type of Genesis 1. Does Jewel want the challenge? She does? Then let’s go. PRELUDE - Millennium Stadium, Jerusalem What a glorious sight! It has been a joyous meeting. Amy, the grandmother of Jewel, drew in the fresh air miles above the New City after the celebrations ended. It has had quite an upgrade since 50 years ago. People are still leaving, singing, ‘Hallelujah! For the LORD our God, the Almighty reigns!’ The air is clear at this height. The clouds are fluffy and light. That’s one good thing about the Millennium Reign: Celebrations. No rain. No interruptions. Out there, the skies are always crystal clear and beautiful on celebration days. Bags of ice cream and cakes - along with soft drinks - flow freely on the terraces. Self-filling cups, though? All the rage. His way of saying thanks for coming. And then there is the bread and wine. It’s the most solemn part of the meeting – a reminder - and a sad yet happy communion led by the apostles Peter and Bartholomew in memory of the victory of the cross. When Jesus shows those wounds, there are tears once more. But there are no blood-stained clothes here to divide. And even the centurions there on the day bow the knee before Him. There are no mockers or scoffers. She may add no evil-minded Romans. Only perfection reigns. It is a token reflection of the cost and commitment of times past, having set his face like flint against the task to come and endure it until the end. Until the LORD can say, at last, ‘It is finished’. On young Jewel goes. Onward to the front to meet Him. It is a high honour. Day 152,640 of the New Millennium has ended well with a glorious display. The prophesied Millennium Years of Rest continues unabated. The praise carries from the centre over Jerusalem’s suburbs. Rapt voices are heard above the clouds in total harmony in swathes of blurry blue, surrounded by aerial vehicles swooping in to take passengers away to their respective lands. Many tributes have been left centre-stage this year at the JMS. Happy days. She never tires of it. She never will. Here present, today, was the visible essence of the Eternal Father-God swathed in the hollow blue of the Holy Spirit, reigning in heaven and on earth! The Son of God descending as the visible expression of God the Father. What a spectacle to behold for mortal people. This meeting is Jewel’s 24th celebration visit since her dedication day. Few ever forget the wonder. It is etched on the mind, often repeated in private moments. But for Jewel, the present is not over. This time, Jesus expects her beneath the stadium. Amy made sure she got the note personally. Above or below, this is not a meeting Jewel will want to miss. She walks on, fearless and determined. There is Gabriel to meet her. He walks with her. She may wonder what He wants. There is a mystery to unravel here. The LORD Jesus Christ has been more absent than present in the flesh, so to speak, these past few years, prepping for a project close to His heart (Nothing to do with potatoes). Times that often take Him into glory while the Twelve administrate. Never more than a prayer away, Jesus - being who Jesus is - demonstrates the absence of the body in no way translates to an absence...
