Expertly crafted with supple leather and delicate hand-beading on the toes, this exclusive collection features a vibrant floral design by Lucie Skjefte – a Minneapolis-based designer, mentor, educator, and citizen of the Red Lake Nation Anishinaabeg whose work is rooted in activism that challenges the status quo with positivity. Lucie is driven by creating space and design with an Indigenous lens. Her design for this shoe collection features a Ziigwan Waabigwan (pronounced: Zeeg-one Waah-big-one), which translates to “Spring Flower” in Ojibwemowin, the language of the Anishinaabe people. This tulip-style flower is commonly found in woodland floral design.
