Miraculous Journey is a touching and comprehensive account of an exceptional accomplishment in North Idaho. Thanks to the philanthropy of Joan Kroc, The Salvation Army, and the unrelenting dedication of local community leaders, The Kroc Center was awarded to unsuspected Coeur d’Alene. However, the real work started after the planning group secured the grant. The historic capital campaign, defeating local political opposition, and various other obstacles were all overcome by the power of God. The Kroc Center was finally opened in 2009 and has been serving the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of youth, families, seniors, and the community ever since.
