I started writing with the intention of writing only one book, but my readers loved the characters of Rev Rock and Liz so well, they begged me to write more. The books are listed as a series because I use many of the same characters and the same locale, but each book is a stand-alone novel that doesn't have to be read in order. They don't have any cliffhangers at the end of each book or any spoilers that would ruin your experience of reading them out of order. My plan is to continue writing these characters until they grow almost as old as I am. I hope you enjoy reading about the little town of Park Place and its quirky inhabitants as much as I've enjoyed writing about them! Glenda Manus resides in South Carolina and has taken seriously the old adage of "write what you know". Her novels are set in the South and are filled with Southern culture, grace and charm. Her five previous novels in the Southern Grace Series are Sweet Tea and Southern Grace, Lighting the Way, High Tide at Pelican Pointe, The Melancholy Moon, and The Sweet Tea Quilting Bee. Her characters are based on the genuine warmth and compassion you'll find in many small towns across America. In her books, she has created the perfect backdrop for ordinary people to live extraordinary lives in the fictitious town of Park Place, South Carolina. It's much like the place she calls home, and home is where she lives with her husband and cat, Theo. Her children and grandchildren live nearby. When not writing, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys serving in many capacities in the church that plays a big part in the inspiration for her writing. Her books are sure to satisfy your thirst for good, clean family fiction.
