Adventures of Robbie, a young boy and his dog Sam struggling to survive in the North American wilderness in 1754, with the boy bonding with a grizzly bear cub and a timber wolf, and his friendship with Ajala a Mohawk slave girl of the Hurons. Britain is at war with France, redcoats and bluecoats soldiers, both sides with Indian allies fighting to gain control of territories in America and Canada.
