His fictional works include a six-book Murder In Memphis police procedural series and a six-book Sonny and Breanne Mystery paranormal, upper-middle-school series. His books have three times been named a 'Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award' finalist, and once a 'Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award Top Pick.' One book was featured in the "Diversity Issue" of Kirkus Reviews Magazine. Jim has also written seven short stories published in the award-winning anthologies of the Malice in Memphis A Killer Writing Group.
