Morgan: A Chronicle is a novella about a man who began life as a foundling in the Western New York hamlet of Swormville. In the summer of 1974, when he began to engage in lay preaching and faith healing as part of his "ministry", he found both fame and hatred in Western New York, across the nation, and around the globe. The book explores whether he was an inspired prophet, a divine presence, or a fraud. The narrator of the book is one of Morgan's companions, who witnessed first-hand the events of that summer and the hope and controversy that swirled around Morgan. Robert Boneberg was raised in Western New York. Robert has been awarded B.A. from SUNY Geneseo, a M.S.W. from SUNY Buffalo, and J.D. from New York Law School. He has worked as a street gang social worker, a government aide, an attorney, and as an anti-slavery activist. In addition to volunteering as a counselor for telephone crisis services, he served as President of the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation, as the Board Chair of Free the Slaves, and as General Counsel to the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. Robert also has served as an Elder at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church of Millburn, New Jersey. He is the author of Choosing to Accept God's Gifts - A Slender Book of Reflections. He lives with his wife and near his children and grandchildren in New Jersey.
