Previously published in 2020 as High Strangeness by Mark Randall and Steve Ward. From November 1966 to December 1967, the town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, was overtaken by strange events. There were numerous reports of a large winged creature; luminous objects appeared frequently in the night sky and the townspeople became the target of harassment by men dressed in black. But that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the high strangeness going on in the Ohio Valley. Strangeness included: Mothman, TNT area, Roger and Linda Scarberry, Steve and Mary Mallette, Men in Black, MIB, John Keel, UFOs, alien visitors and finally the fateful Silver Bridge disaster.
