She's sworn off love. He's sworn off relationships. But in a world of gold buckles and eight-second rides, Knox and Kacey start playing with fire. Kacey Hart has learned the hard way that men see her as a prize, not a person. As heir to Colorado's most successful ranch, she's built walls to protect both her heart and her legacy. The Diamond Hart Ranch is her sanctuary-until Knox Ward arrives. Professional bull rider Knox Ward lives by one rule: no girlfriends, no exceptions. With a world championship in his sights and the summer rodeo run just six weeks away, he can't afford distractions. Then he meets Kacey. As desire burns hot, Knox's championship dreams and Kacey's guarded heart collide in ways neither expected. When the stakes rise and the summer circuit calls, they face an impossible choice-walk away or risk everything for a love that could either fulfill their dreams or leave them both broken. This does not read like a debut novel. This is a perfect mix of what I want the pacing to be like in a romance book. The actual bull riding scenes are so technical and descriptive and quite possibly my favorite scenes in the book. This is the stuff we don't see in normal cowboy romances and absolutely sets you apart from the rest. The glimpse you give the reader of the nitty gritty of rodeo life is a breath of fresh air, instead of focusing on the 'glitz & glam' like some do. - Jaclyn C. Mountain Time is a true love letter to the rodeo and ranching lifestyle. A love letter that is full of authenticity and a swoon worthy romance with a dose of grit. The masterful way in which both lifestyles and terms blended without removing the reader from the plot was refreshing. It removes all the stereotypes from the current cowboy romance genre and applies real world experience into such a fast-paced read. I feel like it's such a needed voice in the romance space and is the optimity of cowboy romance! Bravo you two! - Alyssa D. I loved it! It was funny, emotional and hopeful. I loved that both of them were emotionally mature to talk out their worries. It was very informative as someone who knows nothing about bull riding but from what I've read in books. And I loved that you actually got so much of the bull riding and the farming in the book. It was definitely a true cowboy/rancher romance not a "I put some time in but all the scenes are at a bar or my house. You two did fantastic, I'm so excited for more books in the series. - Randi P. The plot pulls you in so quickly and the rodeo action feels so real - you can absolutely tell it is written by people who know the rodeo life well. I laughed out loud so many times reading this and then actively sobbed my way through several chapters - these characters really seep under your skin! As someone who hasn't read a lot of cowboy romance but generally enjoys the genre, I absolutely cannot wait to read more of this series! - Kitty K.
