This book is a delightful series of childlike illustrations which puts Grandma in fun and slightly unconventional situations in New York City. A child s eye perspective has Grandma, among other activities, bungee jumping from the Brooklyn Bridge, skateboarding in Central Park, and flying a helicopter around the Empire State Building. She doesn t actually do these things, but according to the child, she could! . The book ends with a very warm sentiment about Grandma and the Grandchild and what she really does best. The book has a fun True (that s a fact Jack) and False (get outta here) section. For example The Statue of Liberty gets a haircut every three weeks . A very entertaining book! Ric Dilz is married has two children and lives in Boulder Colorado. Ric was raised in Schenectady New York.
