My Journey chronicles the life of an Assyrian man born in Mosul, Iraq of immigrant parents, his childhood adventures, life as a young adult in Baghdad, Iraq and immigration to America. At the age of 30 Ferdinand came to the United States, graduated from USF and had an accounting career with the city/ county of San Francisco. His personality and positive attitude sparked numerous friendships and connections. Prior to his death Ferdinand completed his memoirs which were edited and published by his wife Barbara Badal.
