Raised on the island of St. Croix, the author has a love for the people and history of the islands. The mother of three grown children and cat, she now lives in Huntington Beach, California and spends her time on her passions: photography, quilting, genealogy, and most of all, writing. She has two published novels, August Freedom and My Name is Freedom; both historical fiction pieces set in the beautiful island of her childhood, St. Croix.
