Developed in the early 1990s, the Napoleon cat, sometimes known as the "Minuet cat," is a newer breed of domestic cat. Short and stocky with a round head, these cats are the result of a mix between the Munchkin and the Persian. Napoleon cats are recognized for their outgoing and gregarious nature, making them great companions for people and other animals. Because of their high IQ, they are also simple to teach new tricks. Napoleon cats are a relatively new breed, hence not all registries include them. However, they are gaining popularity as pets and among breeders thanks to their popularity with cat enthusiasts.
