At one point in “No Swimming”, the author’s first book of non-fiction, Wayne Wilson asks the question, “Why the water?” and then confesses, “I can’t answer that. I just know that the water provokes something addictive within me that I have to experience over and over and over. ...and I am not alone, for mankind has been finding time to enjoy the water since time immemorial.” “No Swimming” is a compilation of thoughts (the author’s and other much more accomplished minds) proceeding out of that mysterious force that the oceans and lakes exert upon the heart and soul of its addicts, of which the author admits he is a life-long member.
