The leg does not extend past the 8 x 10 board, so it will not fit thicker frames. It is made of sturdy 1/8" matte black cardboard. The back hooks allow the item to be hung or displayed either vertically or horizontally. PLEASE NOTE: This back is for slide-in type inserts. It does not have turn buttons to secure it in the frame. These heavy cardstock frame backs may have manufacturing marks on the inner-facing side. They can be created during the manufacturing process.
