"Hazardous Materials To be handled by Native Born only" World 8 gave every indication that it would sustain human life and allow a new colony to thrive, or so the Council of Earth told the prospective men and women that would travel to tame the latest efforts to spread humanity to the stars. When the first colonists landed and began to settle in, they found out the hard way that the beautiful aurora-like radiation that filled the skies might mean their colonizing efforts were doomed. Earth's response was to immediately enact a one-way quarantine on the planet. Twins Jack and Megan were born to a pair of the original settlers. The siblings became instrumental in keeping humans a surviving force on "Rainbow's End," the name they gave the 8th world colonized by the Earth. This Christmas though, childhood friends, long thought to be imaginary friends of their youth, resurface and rejoin them just in time for the conflict between the locals and the Earth governments' representative to get interesting. It's time for the Native Born to show the Worlds what they're made of, and why the Council of Earth should consider it's next steps very carefully.
