Through her Naturescapes, Madeleine Carol Miller hopes to spark an ecological conscience in her audience and raise an awareness of the dire necessity and sacred responsibility for restitution on Planet Earth, both environmental and psycho-spiritual. Her paintings have been inspired by her intuition of the reality that we live in a quantum universe and that whatever we think and do as individuals affects the whole and vice versa. In unison with other authentic ecologists, she recognizes that a transformation of Planet Earth will not occur without a transformation of the human beings that inhabit the Planet. The way to this transformation lies in contemplation of the beauty, practicality and meaning of nature, the inherent co-operativeness of every aspect or nuance of Nature with every other aspect of it, and in comprehension of the reality that what surrounds us also echoes within us.
