Please note:

 

Ensure the magnetic connector of the Surface Pro docking station is correctly aligned and inserted into your Surface device as shown.

When connected correctly, the magnetic connector will light up with a white LED indicator.

If the magnetic connector is inserted incorrectly, the white LED indicator will not turn on. In this case, the Surface Pro dock will only charge your Surface computer—none of the docking station’s ports will work.
