Nikon's D7000 is first in a new range of mid-level DX-format DSLRs with the 16.2-mp CMOS sensor and Expeed 2 image-processing engine, enabling capture of high-definition images with superb image quality and a high level of noise reduction. It offers many features in a compact magnesium alloy body with water- and dust-resistant joints. A 921-k dot, 3.0-inch LCD screen records 1080p 24 full HD movies, and the camera features the Multi-CAM4800DX 39-point AF system with 3D tracking and 2,016-pixel RGB metering sensor. The D7000 is supplied with the 18-105 mm VR kit lens. The standard sensitivity range of ISO100–6400, expandable up to Hi 2 (ISO 25600 equivalent), gives improved capability in low light, and creative possibilities with rapidly moving subjects. The 2,016-pixel metering sensor works with autofocusing, automatic exposure, i-TTL balanced fill-flash, and auto white balance control to produce extremely faithful images. How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
