Sheila Shanker (CPA retired in 2021) is based in Culver City, sunny Southern California, where she lives with her husband and a demanding cat. She has been the Treasurer, Director of Finance and Controller for many organizations. Sheila's long experience in the nonprofit sector has given her the inside track on what these organizations are really like, and what the finance professional and board member must know regarding accounting and financial reports. As a consultant, Sheila has helped many organizations in the finance and management areas.
