Once again, Captain Allen Daniels, first mate Paco Hoya, and second mate Robert Devine are on the go, this time delivering a 40-foot sailboat from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, to San Diego, California. It’s a thousand-mile trip up the Baja coast in what is referred to as “The Baja Bash.” What was to be a routine delivery turns out to be anything but, as they experience mechanical problems, come to a cruise ship’s assistance, ride out a category-one hurricane, and uncover a smuggling ring. It’s high adventure on the Mexican Baja.
