Was the Human Brain created by God? Or was God created by the Human Brain? In this third book of the series, Not Very Intelligent Design, Neel Ingman investigates, hypothesizes, ridicules and dances all around one of the big questions. For those in search of a dry, academic study of the subject, sorry, it's not that. Neither is it a work of theological apologetics. For those who like a spot of entertainment and sophomoronic humor... dive in. This is for you. Trigger Warning This book was triggered by the books Not Very Intelligent Design, and Not Very Intelligent Design Too : Planet Earth. It's not the only thing that was triggered by those books. Some persons of faith were triggered to write scathing reviews, saying they were unscientific, shallow, subjective, and worst of all, vulgar. This one is too. Even worse, it lurches further into hyperbole and straight-out fiction. Hopefully it's also funny and honest. At least more intellectually honest than a creationist who claims to be offended by the idea of something being unscientific. It's written in a tone that's light-hearted and sometimes mocking and that seems to seriously upset those who believe in Creationism. Which causes them to write the sort of reviews you'd expect. On the other hand if you're the sort of person who doesn't take things so seriously and you're open-minded enough to have a good laugh at the way things are, there's a pretty good chance you'll enjoy this book. Excerpts from reviews of Not Very Intelligent Design ★★★★★ "An extremely observant and sometimes laugh out loud book that was thoroughly enjoyable! Your wit, subtle, and silly, is absolutely delightful! I will never view my body parts the same way...thanks?" ★★★★★ "Easy read and gave me many smiles, which with today's world, a lot of us need. Thanks for writing this book." ★ "Jibberish and blather" ★★★★★ "Laughed out loud in many places and nodded in complete agreement throughout. Witty, engaging writing that makes a strong case for a Not Very Intelligent Design(er)." ★★★★★ "Every creationist should read this for some insight into how absurd the notion of intelligent design really is. It might also be worthwhile reading for Richard Dawkins..." ★★★★ "This book is extremely funny, but it does get the point across: We were either designed by natural selection or a complete idiot." ★ "Pure trash- don't waste your time or money" ★★★★★ "I loved this book... The humor is juvenile and at times scatological, so the book might not be for everyone. I highly recommend it..." ★★★★★ "...well written, funny and spot-on... if man was created by a supreme perfect being, WTF was he/she thinking or taking when drawing up the blueprints. Fun book." ★★★★★ "Thought provoking and fun." ★ "Too much vulgar language and stupid remarks. Found in religion section but should be in comedy."
