After graduating from Brigham Young University, she worked for the CIA for six years until she resigned to raise her family. She credits the agency with giving her a wealth of ideas and skills needed to survive her children's teenage years. Traci is a popular writing instructor and keynote speaker and enjoys sharing her knowledge with aspiring writers. She recently retired after spending twenty-six years coaching her local high school swim team and now spends a lot of time traveling, which she loves.
