Saint Jude was one of the original apostles and is also known as Jude Thaddeus. He is the author of the (New Testament) canonical epistle and describes himself as Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James the Less. The term could also mean “brethren of the Lord” describing their closeness with Jesus. The epistle he authored is directed to the Churches of the East, particularly to the Jewish Converts. Through his intercession with Our Lord Jesus, many miracles have happened over the 20 centuries since the Church has invoked his intercessory powers. We, at our parish, Saint Pius X Church, Westerly, Rhode Island, pray this Novena of prayers every Monday evening and can be watched from our website www.saintpiuswesterly.org
