Long before the great exodus of the past millennia, mankind found itself at the mercy of the Kalamar, a race of master-builders whose designs on the future incorporated the creation of a race of humanity that was not human, but rather biologically engineered living, breathing machines. The Alpha Renetta saw this special breed of man as a threat and immediately initiated a seek and destroy policies. The Kalamar retaliated, sending a team of agents into the past in an attempt to revert the efforts by undermining the stability of their competition. These corporate assassins came to be known as: Nomads. Circumventing the Kalamar with a counterplot that nearly crippling the great houses of the Corporate Assembly, the Galactic Senate hosting the idea of a special breed of time traveling bounty hunters to combat these assassins during the capitulation of the human race. Crimson Indigo, a new breed of temporal agent and bounty hunter, the precursor to the Temblor Knights of the Ronna Kaa infiltrator assassins, the Alpha Renetta set into motion events to alter the course of the future, triggering an event that altered the nature of the universe itself. As a result, humanity fled to the stars. However, considering these survivors the essence of a subordinate race, the regiments of the Alpha Renetta dispatched Samuel Nomad, a renegade elitist to deal with the capitulation of the surviving race, but the renegade idealist took it upon himself to cross the dimensional threshold into an alternate reality with purpose and destiny at his side. Inexorably, the pioneers of society determined to repopulate an insignificant planet in the Eden sector, found fresh breath for humanity, allowing the true nature of mankind to withstand his existence through a test of time. Now, in an alien universe, haunted by an unknown adversary stalking his every move, his perception of the universe changing moment to moment, Samuel Nomad realizes the past has splintered not into two possible futures, but multiple realities, including one in which he may no longer exist, the others governed by temporal agents and Corporate biotech symbionts, consumed this alternate version of history sought to deluge humanity with living light technology in order to eliminate the Source of life itself.
