I wrote this book to encourage someone who might be facing the same battle I fought—or maybe a completely different but equally difficult challenge. Whether you’re dealing with heart failure, a spiritual struggle, or just feel like your life is falling apart, I want you to know this: As long as JESUS CHRIST is Lord and God of your life, you win. This testimony isn’t just about healing. It’s about hope. It’s about survival in the natural and victory in the spirit. The Bible says: “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” —Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV) That Scripture reminds us that life happens to everyone. You can be strong, wise, and faithful—and still face unexpected storms. But that doesn’t mean it’s the end. Your crisis may surprise you, but it never surprises God. He has already gone before you. He already has a plan. And if you’re still here—reading this—it means there’s still purpose on your life. I give all glory and gratitude to my GOD and Savior, who began preparing me at just 17 years old for the day I would face heart failure. To Him belongs all the credit—He preserved me when I didn’t know what was coming. I’m also grateful for my loving family, my faithful church family, and the medical teams who stood with me and fought for me—especially the incredible doctors and nurses at Duke Medical. This book is for you—the reader. Whether you’re battling physically, emotionally, or spiritually, my prayer is that these pages speak life into your situation. Because when God blocks it—He’s not just protecting you. He’s preparing you.
