The relaxed heel allows for the foot to fit flat and comfortably in the shoe with room for less stressed toes. Ocun shoes are designed for a performance fit at or near street shoe size, most climbers find this shoe fits as intended at street shoe size or +/- 1/2 size based on personal preference.
