Country of Origin: Portugal
Key Features: Upgraded and improved based on the previous-generation OEM ignition coil
Fully compatible with aftermarket/replacement parts without any compatibility issues
Installation Instructions
Use dielectric grease (insulating grease) to prevent high-voltage arc breakdown between the ignition coil and spark plug. This ensures all high-voltage electricity is used for spark plug ignition, avoiding misfires caused by energy loss.
Application method:
Dip a finger to take a rice grain-sized amount of grease.
Apply it evenly inside the coil boot.
Tools allowed: Small brush, cotton swab, clean cloth, or paper towel.
Replacement Recommendations
If only one ignition coil is faulty, it is recommended to replace the complete set for the vehicle. Ignition coils operate simultaneously, and subsequent failures of other coils are likely to occur in a short period.
Quantity per vehicle: Determine based on the number of cylinders (check under the hood):
4-cylinder engines (e.g., N20/N26): Replace 4 coils
6-cylinder engines (e.g., N55/N52): Replace 6 coils
Common Ignition Coil Failure Symptoms
Engine misfires – Unstable operation, hesitation, or rough acceleration
Difficult starting – Especially cold starts
Loss of power – Reduced acceleration or overall engine performance
Rough idle – Engine shaking or unstable operation at idle
Check Engine Light (CEL) – Usually the first sign of ignition coil failure
Diagnostic codes – P0351-P0358 typically indicate specific coil malfunctions
Poor fuel economy – Reduced combustion efficiency increases fuel consumption
Increased emissions – Incomplete combustion may cause failed emission tests
Maintenance Tips
Inspect every 30,000 to 40,000 miles for signs of wear or oil contamination.
Keep the engine compartment clean – Oil leaks can damage the ignition coil insulation.
Monitor engine diagnostic codes – Addre
