Amidst the onslaught of challenges against the historical moral standard established within the United States, even the Church has acquiesced to society’s influence. As people of faith look at the current immoral philosophies gaining footholds within society and the Church, it begs the question of how we ever got to this point. The answer is two-fold: 1) There has been an insidious infection from various sides that have adversely influenced and even directed society; and 2) The Church was not willing to take a firm stand against such infection. This book acknowledges both points by highlighting the historical development of the “infection” and demonstrating the lack of a proper Chruch response to it. Finaly, it presents a hope that the nation might return to being a nation under God’s care and direction, calling for a new “Great Awakening” across the land in order to reestablish our Moral Compass.
