The openlager hardware can accept data at high rates using slave SPI or fast async serial. It uses a 4-wide SDIO interface to the card to support higher peak logging rates. And the reasonable amount of memory buffer on the STM32F411 lets us ride out times when the SD card is busy erasing or doing other housekeeping without losing data. The Blackbox module is a very handy tool for FPV pilots, using black box data analysis software to finetune PID and filtering parameters. Many flight controllers especially AIO flight controllers have onboard black box, but due to Limited size, the storage capacity is very limited. Our Blackbox is developed with the latest Openlager hardware In mind, features STM32F411 processor with a TF card slot, support maximum 32GB TF card. The growing popularity of open source stabilizer Gyroflow makes the storage and reading of gyro data in the flight controller ever more important Suit for Mobula7 1S HD quad, its voltage boost module can power the Runcam Split3 lite, allowing it to operate under low voltage. Size:18*15.5*4.5mm, With Built-in Voltage booster module, Working voltage: 3v-4.35V, Weight:1.5g Instruction:
Insert a Micro SD card(not included), connect this blackbox module to flight controller according to the wiring diagram, take the Mobula7 1S HD as an example: Enable Blackbox logging in UART1, Set the rate to 2000000
For Gyroflow use, go to blackbox setting and select Serial Port, 250HZ, GYRO_RAW, after each setup, click the Save and Restart button.
LED indicator definition:
Red light goes out: SD card successfully detected, ready to work
Red light slow flashing: Sd card not detected
Red light flashes quickly: the drone is armed, the black box is functioning
To access the black box files:
Export the LOG000 file from the SD card to the computer (The file serial number is automatically incremented by 1 each time the power is turned on)
The CFG file is black box configuration file which can not be exported, LOG000 is the log file generated after the unlock, can be opened with Betaflight Blackbox Explorer to read recorded flight data
