This scrapbook is a piece of my heart because it comes straight from my corazoncito. This scrapbook holds the Special Memories of Mi Familia, memories we will never forget. For those who wish to remember the past, celebrate the present and welcome the future of our Capirotada into their hearts. Reminiscentes of my life toda una “ Capirotada” mis recuerdos de infancia. I have grown up with stories my abuelos and parents have shared. In putting these pieces together, I have come to believe more strongly than ever that after people transcend, they really do live on through those who love them. I am trying to preserve and save a piece of what to me is a still living past. Memories of my childhood days came flooding back: memories of the people, the events, the places and the wonderful times. I feel it is vital to keep our traditions alive.
