All organized crime prosecutor Joe Doorman wanted was a quiet cruise with his teenage son, David. Doorman’s brutal trial schedule has battered the family. Doorman has managed to squeeze a week off before his next mob trial to spend quality time with his son. It might have been a good plan. Except that on the first night of the cruise, the tension between them explodes into a nasty blow-up. An uneasy peace returns as night falls. They might have worked things out in the morning. But in the middle of the night, pirates storm the boat. They viciously pistol-whip Doorman. The violence forces David to flee overboard. Doorman and David have barely begun to understand what they are facing when a terrible storm hits. Gale-force winds, torrents of rain and killer waves capsize the small craft, throwing everyone aboard to struggle just to survive. And then the hitmen show up.
