All organized crime prosecutor Joe Doorman wanted was a quiet cruise with his son. He and David head off for an idyllic week aboard the family sailboat, looking forward to quality time together. It might have been a good plan. But in the middle of their first night at anchor, pirates appear out of the night. They storm the boat, pistol-whipping the prosecutor. From the first, prosecutor Doorman mistakes the pirates for the hit men rumored to be hunting him. He hustles David off the boat and out of the line of fire, and steels himself to fight for his life. Before Doorman can make his move, the gust front of an unexpected storm slams into the sailboat. It's quickly followed by gale-force winds, torrents of rain, killer waves, and nonstop lightning strikes. Pirates and prosecutor alike find themselves thrown into a desperate fight for survival on a sinking boat. And then the real hit men arrive.
