Natural evolution is the changing in systems to adapt to environmental changes and it is enabled by the structural learning coupling between thesystems. The structural coupling between the economic-, social- and ecological system, however, is not strong enough, because it seems that theoverall system of 'life on planet Earth' is not sustainable in the long-term.To strengthen the structural coupling between the economic-, social- and ecological systems a man-made structural learning coupling could be implemented. This additonal structural coupling could be enabled by the new information and communication technology.
