This is an exciting book and readers can’t wait to discover what happens next. The show becomes wildly popular and the book, “PUNK OUT”, covers the pilot episode and the twelve episodes of the show’s first season. In response to record violent crime rates, cashless bail, grossly inadequate prison sentences, and paid-off prosecutors, Congress and the new President passed laws to make America safe again. Any crime that resulted in a death, could now be prosecuted in Federal court. Convicted killers, human traffickers, drug dealers, and pedophiles could now face the death penalty in Federal court, regardless of State and Local laws. Television game show producer David Kaplan saw this opportunity and launched a new TV game show that features public executions of convicted death row prisoners. The show is broadcast on live TV from various Federal Prisons. Prisoners get a chance to win money for their family and spin, one of three, PUNK OUT wheels to determine how they will be executed that night on the show. They are placed in one of the eight Plexiglas execution booths and activate a remote control to cause their death. If they do this in the allotted time, and do not PUNK OUT, they win at least $25,000 for their family. If they PUNK OUT, and do not push the remote control in time, they are escorted back to their cells and will be executed later at the prison. In this case their family gets nothing. Either way, at least $25,000 is donated by the PUNK OUT SHOW to the families of the victims. In addition, a crowd funding webpage is also set up for the victim’s families A three person betting panel, that is chosen from the studio audience, gets the chance to question the prisoners and bet on whether they will PUNK OUT or NOT. If they bet correctly, they can win up to $15,000. In addition, three TV viewers from home can enter a drawing to win $5,000 each by predicting if the prisoner will PUNK OUT or not.
