Palouse Brand offers our customers with an authentic farm to table experience. We grow our wheat berries on our 125+ year old farm, harvest them, transport them, triple clean, mill them into flour, and package them to be sent directly to our customers. AUTHENTICALLY WHOLE GRAIN FLOUR: Our products are not stripped of any part of the wheat berries used to stone grind your flour. There are no additives or preservatives. Our flour is milled to order just for you. We use our amazing wheat berries and our stone mill to make amazing fresh whole wheat flour. We offer two different kinds of whole wheat flour, multi-purpose (soft white wheat flour) and white bread flour (hard white wheat flour) as well as whole wheat flour (hard red winter wheat flour) and whole wheat bread flour (hard red spring wheat flour). Our flour is unbleached, un-bromated, non-irritated with no additives. Flour is typically a blend of red and white wheat as well as hard and soft wheat that ranges in protein from 8-13% and usually only utilizes the endosperm of the wheat kernel. We are able to provide a whole wheat flour that has the same qualities as all-purpose but gives you the nutrients from every part of the whole grain. Our soft white wheat berries have a protein of 11% which creates one of the best multi-purpose or all-purpose flours. Our hard white wheat berries have a protein content of 13% which produces an amazing bread flour. Our white wheat flour is unbleached and is free if of potassium bromate.
