Martha Underwood can usually be found leading large teams of software engineers that create products to make life easier. A dreamer at heart, writing a children's book has always been an aspiration. Her sons' love of Christmas inspired Parker's Elf. It is a series of stories written to help young children explore diversity, self-esteem, and emotions through the magic of Christmas. Through her publishing company Playful Prose, she plans on releasing more books and journals to help kids navigate their emotions and build self-esteem. Martha lives in Birmingham, AL, known as the Magic City, with her husband and 2 sons.
