This book, Pearls of Grace:30 Years of Marriage Lessons, was born in a season when the whole world seemed to pause. During the time of COVID-19, when "Shelter In Place" orders were given, we all found ourselves at home more than ever before. Family became once again the center of homes. For some, this unexpected togetherness brought joy, laughter and treasured memories. For others, it tested patience, exposed weaknesses, and revealed struggles that busyness once kept hidden. For many, it was both. Marriage and family relationships were brought to the spotlight. It was during this time that this book took root. I wanted to reflect on many things and one of them was the lessons I learned throughout my own marriage of 30 years with Jay.
