Later she lived in Canada, USVI, Indonesia and Spain with her husband and three children. Now that her chicks have left the nest, Paula lives with her husband and her fur baby Floyd, in the picturesque, coastal town of Ipswich, Massachusetts. Paula has a BA from The university of Waterloo, ON, Canada and is conversant in Spanish. Pedro's adventure began in Javea, Spain where Paula and Pedro first met on the family's pool deck. It was Paula's good fortune to have met illustrator, Michelle Verfaillie in Massachusetts before Michelle moved to Ireland. All the way in Ireland, a joint friend reaquainted them a few years later. The fortuitus reunion led to a a wonderful collaboration This is Paula's literary debut. Michelle Verfaillie is an illustrator from MA who currently resides in West Cork Ireland with her husband, 2 grown children and 3 grown furry dogs.
